Crown of Glory Church

The Lord has called Crown of Glory Church (Singapore) to be a Fivefold church (Eph 4:11-16) and a House of Prayer for the Nations (Isa 56:7). Since the inception of the Church, we have been co-laboring with the God to see the body of Christ being equipped for the work of the ministry and growing into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

 

Every year the church seeks to fulfill our call as a prayer house through the mobilization of the church members to concertedly pray for issues concerning the nations. From the social, economic to governmental concerns, we sought the Lord to have His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Prayer and intercession will always remain a central pillar and strength that the church sought to build, an altar of incense that will continually rise before the Lord.

 

Equipping the saints and growing in maturity requires a far wider range of ministries and activities to where the Lord can work His all in all. (1Cor 12:5-6) Here lies the need to deliberately and intentionally raise the members of the church to the Fivefold ministries through life mentoring, church activities and classes. We recognize the uniqueness of each individual’s gifting, aptitude and inclinations and seek to bring to maturity the potential that God has put in each one of us.  

 

“You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God.” - Isaiah 62:3

Over the years, God, the ever-faithful Father, guided and extended the church ministries to reach the nations around us from Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand to China and India. These efforts range from sharing the gospel, social projects for the communities, the sending of missionaries to supporting and building up local churches. These efforts allow us to sow into the nations whose doors God has opened to us. The Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest missionary of Heaven and we seek to follow in His footsteps that the world may hear of the gospel.

Underlying these broad approaches, the church also believes in the abundance and fullness life in Christ (John 10:10) that He desires for each fellow believer. Families and members’ well-being are crucial bedrock of the church and society. Societal changes that reflect the love of God will only come through a transformed life as each of us embrace the work of Holy Spirit in us.

These we will endeavor to do until the day the Lord returns for His Glorious Church. We will continue to faithfully discharge the duties the Lord requires of us, to feed and tend His flock as He has instructed. Our prayer and desire is to be that Crown of Glory and the royal diadem in the hand of the LORD our God.
